I would give the keepers a rest and put Randolph in goal, maybe see if we can get Winston Reid back in to help out too, but other than that looks a great team.

Attention seeker or yid or both

Re: Team for Wolves - Premier League
Not a bad team although I'd probably put Noble on the right wing and Yarmolenko at left back.

This is going well, isn't it, crossed hammers. I'm very happy to take it over again and to kick it off with a few thoughts, which you can't seem to be bothered to do. Judging by your selection, there's certainly not a lot of thought goes into that.

So, for me, the only issues are Coufal Vs Johnson and whether or not Moyes will rest any of the players who had gruelling international involvements.

On the first one, Johnson is in possession of the shirt and has done nothing worthy of losing it, so keeps it.

On the second one, I think the way Moyes works for PL games is to put out his best side, regardless of involvement in internationals.

Fabianski
Johnson Dawson Zouma Cresswell
Rice Soucek
Bowen Fornals Benrahma
Antonio

Re: Team for Wolves - Premier League
Only conceivable change to the exile’s team is Diop for Dawson with Zouma playing on the right side of the central defence pair. Yarmolenko can come on off the bench once we are three nil up to rest some tired legs.

Big game. A six pointer against one of our rivals for Europe.

I’d be tempted to play Coufal for the extra attacking threat he gives us. I could see him coming on the second half if we need a goal.

''A six pointer against one of our rivals for Europe.''

Ffs, turn it in. A six pointer?? And Johnson has cored one more goal than Coufal this season, so really don't see him as less an attacking threat than the Czech.

Oh piss off, Darby, Johnson can't get assists? Still can't believe you have called it a 6 pointer.

Great comeback, son. You clearly know fuck all yourself. Let's see who starts on Saturday, in the SIX POINTER.

Re: Team for Wolves - Premier League
Attacking threat for a full back is more about getting forward & joining in attacks than who has scored one goal v nil goals.
Coufal is superior in that area but Johnson at 21 has time to develop that side of his game.

The game after international breaks is always difficult and using players who have been training at home isnt a bad strategy.
I'd pick Johnson here but Coufal will be back soon enough. Its fantastic that we have two very good players pushing each other.

Antonio is obviously the biggest worry but hopefully all the UK based Jamaicans were on a private jet back QUICK SMART.
Soucek & Fornals sat out games & Rice was home 'ill' so we arent too badly off. Benrahma has been in AFRICA (although a sub) so Lanzini may get a start.

As mentioned on the other thread Raul Jimenez was playing Canada at 2am our time yesterday & the other S Korean striker was in Uzbekistan.

Re: Team for Wolves - Premier League
Roeder - Yea I know that soppy, but by scoring against Villa Johnson has shown he is capable of being a threat, and he is also more than capable of ''joining in attacks'' What do you think he will do when we attack, stand about with his hands on his hips?? He wouldn't have made it this far if he could only defend and had no attributes going forward. Did I say you were soppy..
